Meet Dr. Bertz

Dr. Bertz has served Scottsdale and the surrounding communities in his full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice since 1983.  He is past-president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has the distinction of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He attended dental school at The Ohio State University, and completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UT Southwestern at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.  He obtained his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  His professional interests include surgical management of Clefts, TMJ, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Corrective Jaw Surgeries, and Facial Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery.
